Guthan was one of the six Barrows Brothers, mortal warriors who fought in the brutal Saradominist-Zarosian war during the Fifth Age. He did not serve Guthix, nor did he fight in the God Wars. After his death, his spirit remained bound to his tomb in the Barrows, not the God Wars Dungeon. His legacy is defined not by divine magic, but by his unyielding martial prowess and the unique healing properties of his cursed armor.

In Their Own Story

A lone monk knelt before the altar where the statue of the Green God stood silent, its eyes closed in eternal slumber. 'You sleep so that we may wake,' the monk murmured, tracing the rough texture of the armor carved from living wood and iron. Outside, the shadows of Bandosian zealots lingered at the forest's edge, but they could not cross the threshold. The air here hummed with a quiet power, a reminder that balance is not passive; it is a shield forged in sacrifice. Guthix was gone, yet his will remained woven into every leaf and stone, guarding the world he loved from the chaos of his brothers.
