Lore & Background
Sir Amik Varze leads the White Knights of Falador. In *Betrayal at Falador*, he is determined to find the monster attacking travellers on the outskirts of the region after a woman named Kara-Meir is found near death within the castle walls. He orders Squire Theodore to consult druids about mysterious white flowers found on Kara-Meir. During the climactic battle between the Kinshra (Black knights) and the White Knights, Sir Amik is injured in the field. His injury causes morale to drop, prompting the valet Bhuler to disguise himself in the master-at-arm's plate to rally the knights. Bhuler is killed in the attempt. After the battle, about 10,000 citizens of Falador cheer Kara-Meir as a hero.
In Their Own Story
Sir Amik Varze commands the White Knights from Falador Castle. When Kara-Meir is found near death within the castle walls, he orders his knights to investigate. He sends Squire Theodore to Taverley to consult the druid Kaqemeex about snowdrops found on Kara-Meir. Later, during the battle against Sulla's Kinshra, Sir Amik is injured on the field. With their commander down, morale collapses until the valet Bhuler dons the master-at-arm's armor as a disguise to impersonate Sir Amik and rally the knights. Bhuler is killed, becoming a hero. Sir Amik survives the battle, and after the fighting ends, Kara-Meir is hailed as a hero by the citizens of Falador.
